Rolex GMT-Master II, 40mm, Stainless Steel, Ref# 126710BLNR-0002 – The Iconic ‘Batman’ Bezel

The Rolex GMT-Master II features a stainless steel case with polished finished edges and a brushed/satin-finished top. The black dial includes polished 18k white gold hour and minute hands in the Mercedes-logo and Breguet-style sword shape, both filled with luminous material. The polished 18k white gold seconds hand and applied 18k white gold rimmed index hour markers are also filled with luminous material for high legibility in low light. The fine-printed minute/seconds track on the dial rim, combined with the Chromalight display, emits a long-lasting blue luminescence. The date is displayed at the 3 o’clock position with a Cyclops magnifier.

The polished stainless steel patented “Triplock” locking crown ensures the crown screws down securely onto the Oyster case, much like a submarine hatch. The dial is protected by a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, and the watch features a solid case back. The GMT/second time zone function is indicated by a blue hand with a luminous-filled arrowhead tip, which points to the 24-hour markings on the bezel. The watch also offers an instantaneous date function and stop-seconds for precise time setting.

The bidirectional rotating bezel is polished stainless steel with a ribbed edge for a sure grip, featuring the signature ‘Batman’ blue and black Cerachrom insert made from ceramic. The bezel has matte platinum-coated Arabic numerals and graduated indexes for easy 24-hour time reference.

The watch is powered by the mechanical self-winding Rolex Caliber 3285 movement, containing 31 jewels and offering a power reserve of approximately 70 hours. It is presented on a Jubilee bracelet, made of brushed stainless steel outer links and polished stainless steel center links, featuring a folding Oysterlock safety clasp with Easylink 5mm comfort extension.
